Some of the other projects we operate are outlined below.
Girls Group
Tuesdays 4pm-6pm @ mp33 (12-18 years)
Exclusively for girls 12-18 years. Most girls that attend this group are from Merkinch and in S1-S6 at the Inverness High School. The sessions provide a wide range of participative learning activities, from cookery workshops, through arts and crafts, to beauty therapy sessions.
Boys Group
Thursdays 3pm-5pm @ mp33 (12-18 years)
Exclusively for boys 12-18 years. Most boys that attend this group are from Merkinch and in S1-S6 at the Inverness High School. The sessions provide a wide range of participative learning activities, from gaming, through grafitti arts, to DVD.
Courses Group
Wednesdays 2pm-5pm @ mp33 (12-25 years)
A chance to explore future options for study and work online. Advice and assistance is available for writing up CVs, and there is an opportunity to discuss interests and ambitions with trained staff.
Film Maker's Group
Fridays 6pm-8pm @ mp33 (12-25 years)
Are you interested in films and film making? Why not get involved in planning and producing your own film. mp33 has the cameras and the computers to download and edit broadcast quality video. The Film Maker's Group is currently producing a short film for the New Year. The Group also watches and critiques cinema work on our in-house multi-media system.
Polish Group
Every Second Wednesday 4pm-6pm @ mp33 (12-25 years)
Open to young Polish members of the community. Internet access and PS3 gaming.
