Welcome to the mp33 web site!

mp33 is a drop-in and information centre for young people in Merkinch & South Kessock, Inverness, Scotland.

We are part of the Inverness Area Youth Development Team within Community Learning and Leisure of the Education, Culture and Sport Services, Highland Council - Scotland, UK. More importantly, we are part of the community of Merkinch and South Kessock.

The centre offers advice and information on issues that affect young people, and a friendly, usually energetic, place to hang out in. The drop-in has a small informal meeting area, a small private room with free telephone access, a fully equipped kitchen, 4 free internet access points, a desktop publishing PC system, multi-media computer station, a 50" HD-TV with PS3 and HD-DVD player, 2 DV cams and a video editing suite. We run junior and senior youth clubs at Merkinch Community Centre plus a host of other indoor and outdoor activities, particularly during the Summer months. We also operate Capers, a teenage mum's group, on Tuesday mornings at a local church, and The Black Bridge Cycle Project, cycle maintenance and repair workshops for young people, on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. We hope you enjoy visiting our site.

If you want to get involved in any of our activities and projects, or have any ideas for future ones, please get in touch.
